I’m a Canadian author writing stories rooted in childhood memories, family, and the everyday moments that shape who we become.
I write The Lydia Rose Series, a coming-of-age story set in a small Ontario town in 1979 and the early 80s. The protagonist, Lydia Rose, is a struggling teen adjusting to a new home, a new school, and her own shifting identity when she begins to realize that the century house she now lives in is whispering secrets to her.
I’m also the creator of Garnet’s World, a cheerful children’s picture-book series for ages 4–7. Garnet’s stories capture the humour, resilience, and magic of childhood, from picture day chaos to small backyard mishaps, one adventure at a time.
No matter where my writing takes me, my stories are grounded in real life, shaped by imagination and creativity, and guided by my belief that family and friendship matter more than the noise of the world around us.
Based in Ottawa, I enjoy the creative process of world-building, storytelling, and sharing experiences that have stayed with me over the years.
